How to use it?

  • Enter Your Age: Your age is crucial since metabolism generally slows down as you get older, affecting your total energy expenditure.

  • Select Your Gender: Men typically have a higher muscle mass than women, leading to differences in basal metabolic rate (BMR), which the calculator uses to estimate TDEE.

  • Input Your Height and Weight: Your height influences your BMR, as taller individuals generally have a higher BMR, so does weight.

  • Body Fat Percentage (Optional): The calculator uses your lean body mass to estimate your BMR more precisely.

  • Select Your Activity Level: Choose from different activity levels that best describe your daily routine.

  • Calculate: Click the “Calculate TDEE” button to see your results. The calculator will display:

    • Your TDEE: The total calories you need to maintain your current weight.

    • Calorie Goals: Suggested daily calorie intake for weight loss and weight gain.
